The Wyckoff-Burlew house overlooking Owasco Lake. The living room has a mantel over the fireplace and nice woodwork with narrow double doors into a small bedroom. The dining room also has a fireplace. The house has been in the Burlew family for over a hundred years. It is now owned by Mrs. Henry L. Burlew. Excerpt from "Cobblestone House Tour", Citizen-Advertiser, Auburn, N.Y., May 29, 1963. Classic Greek Revival. Richard Palmer blog.
There is no Google Maps street level view in this area: however, satellite imagery shows that the structure is located at the intersection of Rt. 38 (West Lake Rd.) and Wycoff Road. The driveway of the residence is on Wycoff Rd., hence the 4619 Wycoff Rd. address as stated in the Richard Palmer blog, even though the front of the house faces West Lake Rd.
